Be considerate to you playing partners, please make it a habit to fix your ball mark and mark your ball while it is on the green.
Dont spend all day looking for a lost ball, you are allowed only 5 minutes..
*In case of bad weather - Please call course to see if we are playing.
To speed up play on par 3s ---.. when all your party has reached the green mark your ball. If there is a group on the tee wave the group on the tee to hit. After they hit replace your ball and putt out.
There always seems to be questions on a ball Out of Bounds. The correct way to play this is: If you hit a ball out of bounds, you must rehit from where you last hit before the ball when out of bounds. If on the tee you must re-tee, if from the fairway you must go back to where you last hit from and re-hit. You add 1 stroke penalty and you also count the hit of the ball you hit out of bounds. If you need clarification on this see me.
While we are at it, a Lost Ball is very much similar to the out of bounds rule, you must add a stroke for the lost ball and you must count the hit on the ball you lost. You must hit from where you last hit before you lost your ball. The are exception to this if the ball is lost in a hazard, marked by red lines or red stakes, in that case you would drop a ball within 2 club lengths of where the ball last crossed the hazard and add 1 stroke as a penalty.
On hole #1, if you hit in the water, and you ball did not cross the water hazard, you must drop on the opposite side, side farther from the green, and rehit. Add 1 stroke penalty and count the stroke for the ball you hit in the water. On #5, if it goes in the water, drop to right of cart path, same penalties apply.
These are all USGA Rules.
If any of the rules are slowing down play please bring them to my attention and we will take a look at them. Also if you have any rules questions, please let me know and I will find out the answer if I dont know.
Remember this is our course, keep it clean, fix ball marks, replace divots, stay on the cart path when required. And most of all be considerate of those playing in front of and behind you, and keep up to the pace of play.
Thanks
